What a truly wonderful night we had at our annual Christmas musical sharing event! It was so much more than just music – it was about connection, learning, and the joy of coming together with friends and family. 💚
Here’s what some of our lovely audience had to say:
💬 “We loved how Helen explained the music and what the orchestra was doing – it made everything so much more interesting!”
💬 “It was great to see that young lad stepping up to conduct – what an opportunity!”
💬 “So refreshing to see an event that welcomes little ones – our 2-year-old loved having a go on the ‘big drums’ (timps!)”
💬 “The buffet afterwards was lovely – we really enjoyed mingling with the orchestra members!”
🌟 A HUGE thank you to our incredible conductor, Helen Thomas, who continues to inspire us to push beyond our limits. As she said: 🎵 “The Dvořák was a challenge, and I’ve been thrilled with the progress we’ve made!”
👏 Shout-outs to our stars of the evening:
🎻 Ed, for leading us so magnificently – particularly in the dizzy heights of those ledger lines!
💚 Irena, for all the tireless work behind the scenes that keeps everything running smoothly.
🙏 Our church friends, for their warm hospitality and the delicious buffet – we are always so grateful for your support
🎄 And, of course, thank you to everyone who donated to our collection. We’re thrilled to say that all proceeds were given to Claire House Children's Hospice
See you all in 2025 for another exciting year of music-making!
